Supplier overview & suitability
For small-business supply enquiries, E.ON Next has a dedicated business website with quotes and account management. Check whether your agreement is with E.ON Next or another E.ON business service before choosing a support route. Energy services and retail supply are different enquiries.
Our assessment: match the quote and service model to your business size, premises and purchasing requirements.
Products, prices & contract checks
Compare a written offer for the same premises, annual usage and start date. Ask the supplier or adviser to explain:
- Contract length, payment method and quote expiry.
- Unit rates, standing charges and any capacity or metering charges.
- Which costs are fixed and which network, policy or other charges can change.
- Renewable certificates or product conditions relevant to your business.
- Any commission included in the price and the scope of the comparison.
Existing accounts, bills & customer support
For a supplier-controlled account, payment, complaint or login issue, use the official route for the company on your bill. Have your account reference, premises address and the relevant bill available.
Official supplier website and support — an external supplier resource, separate from Business Utilities UK.
To discuss whether another contract or adviser would better suit your business, contact Business Utilities UK using the call or email panel above. Do not send passwords or payment-card details in an enquiry.
Renewal dates, switching & moving business
Check the end date and notice conditions in your signed agreement. A renewal offer, a contract end and a new supply start are different dates. Tell us if you have already accepted a forward renewal.
For multiple sites, record each meter and its end date. When moving premises, tell the existing supplier the occupancy dates and provide opening or closing readings. Check the process before agreeing supply for a site you have not yet taken over.
Metering, usage & energy management
Bring a recent bill and annual consumption, with half-hourly data where available. Identify the electricity MPAN or gas MPRN and distinguish it from the meter’s serial number. Ask which smart-meter, AMR or consumption-reporting service applies to your premises and whether separate charges apply.
