Supplier overview & suitability
This is a historical supplier listing. Ofgem appointed E.ON Next as supplier of last resort for Gas and Power Limited, trading as HUB Energy. Check your latest bill for the current supplier; do not use old Gulf contact details as a current sales route.
Our assessment: identify the current legal supplier before discussing new supply.
Products, prices & contract checks
Use the current supplier named on your latest bill. The historical supplier-of-last-resort appointment does not establish who supplies your premises today.
Existing accounts, bills & customer support
For a supplier-controlled account, payment, complaint or login issue, use the official route for the company on your bill. Have your account reference, premises address and the relevant bill available.
Use current bill or transfer correspondence to identify the correct support team.
To discuss whether another contract or adviser would better suit your business, contact Business Utilities UK using the call or email panel above. Do not send passwords or payment-card details in an enquiry.
Renewal dates, switching & moving business
Check the end date and notice conditions in your signed agreement. A renewal offer, a contract end and a new supply start are different dates. Tell us if you have already accepted a forward renewal.
For multiple sites, record each meter and its end date. When moving premises, tell the existing supplier the occupancy dates and provide opening or closing readings. Check the process before agreeing supply for a site you have not yet taken over.
Metering, usage & energy management
Bring a recent bill and annual consumption, with half-hourly data where available. Identify the electricity MPAN or gas MPRN and distinguish it from the meter’s serial number. Ask which smart-meter, AMR or consumption-reporting service applies to your premises and whether separate charges apply.
